Team member responsible for the day-to-day production of InfoWorld; from template creation to final sign off. I was responsible for pre-flighting and troubleshooting advertisers PDF and native files, ensuring digital art meets SWOP standards, importing editorial content and styling editorial pages, color correcting and digital retouching of digital photography, pre-flighting artwork, processing and transmitting editorial and advertising pages as PDF files to our printing vendor while maintaining the highest quality control standards. I have extensive knowledge of color managment systems and Mac OS.

1998-2001 InfoWorld Media Group San Francisco, Ca
Production department’s team leader in the effort to bring InfoWorld completely computer-to-plate. I served as liaison between art, editorial and IT departments to ensure that the daily production process was maintained during the transition. I worked with the representatives of Shira Corporation to install the ShiraRight-to-RIP and ShiraRight-to-Proof systems to compliment and mirror the systems of our print vendor.
I also oversaw the creation and implementation of IT Careers, an advertising recruitment section that appeared in 3 national publications, InfoWorld, NetWork World and ComputerWorld.
I served as an industry consultant for Photography, 7th Edition, London, Upton.
